Cauliflower dosa

Cauliflower Dosa  :

If u r passionate about eating whatever made out of this flowery veggie...then I would join too and...yup am crazy about all stuffs made out of cauliflower :) ..(except for the cleaning part :( ..).Here is a very nice recipe for you which is easy to make :) n very very yummy to taste.

  Prep time :  15 mins  |  Cooking time : 20 mins |  Serving :  4



  • Cauliflower                             - 1 small sized flower
  • Onion                                      - 1,chopped
  • Tomato                                    - 2 ,chopped
  • Cashew nuts                            - 8 - 10
  • Red chilli powder                   - 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder                   - 2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder                        - 1/2 tsp
  • Tandoori masala powder         - 3/4 tsp
  • Turmeric powder                     - 1 pinch(optional)
  • Fennel seeds/soambu              - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves,chopped       - 3 tblsp
  • Oil                                           - 2 tblsp
  • Salt                                          - As needed
  • Idly/dosa batter                       - As needed
Method :

 1.Soak the cauliflower florets into warm water and add salt.

2.Take a pan and add oil. Add fennel seeds and then the chopped onions.

3.When the onions turn golden, add the chopped tomatoes.


        4. When the tomatoes turn mushy, add all the powders to it and add salt as per your taste.

  5. Add the cauliflower to the pan and mix well.

   6.Meanwhile, grind the cashew nuts into a fine paste and keep it aside.

         7.Then add the cashew paste to it and fry for a while.
         8.Then add water (shoudnt add much water as it might become watery)and  cook     under medium or low flame.


9.Add coriander leaves atlast. Prepare dosa and stuff this masala and enjoy the heavenly taste that this little floret brings to your home J.. J
